MIL-A-18977D(OS)
4.5.4.4 DC signal gain.
To test for dc signal gain as specified in
3.3.5:
4.5.4.4.1 Apply power signal source (4.5.3.1.4) to terminals M and N
(M being positive).
4.5.4.4.2 Adjust the magnitude of the power signal source to 1.5 volts.
4.5.4.4.3 The resulting current shall show an increase from balance
to 10.5 minimum, from terminal S, as specified in 3.3.5.
4.5.4.4.4 The resulting current shall show a decrease from balance
to 3.5 ma maximum, from terminal R, as specified in 3.3.5.
4.5.4.4.5 Remove power (signal) source (4.5.3.1.4).
To test for current drain as specified in
4.5.4.5 Current drain.
3.3.6:
4.5.4.5.1 Remove the power supply lead from terminal L.
4.5.4.5.2 Connect the lead removed from terminal L to the positive
terminal of a 0-20 ma dc milliammeter (4.5.3.2.2).
4.5.4.5.3 Connect a lead from the negative terminal of the meter to
terminal L.
4.5.4.5.4 With the input from the signal source (4.5.3.1.5) at any
polarity and magnitude, the current indicated by this meter shall not
exceed 18.5 ma, as specified in 3.3.6.
4.5.4.6 Visual and dimensional examination. Each amplifier channel
shall be examined to determine conformance with the requirements for
workmanship and dimensions.
4.5.4.7 Packaging, packing, and marking.  Packaging, packing, and
marking shall comply with the requirements of Section 5.
5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
5.1 Preservation and packaging.  The levels of preservation and pack-
aging shall be as specified (see 6.2)
5.1.1 Level A
5.1.1.1 Unit packaging.  The amplifier channel shall be packaged in
accordance with Method IID of MIL-P-116 and LD 162754.
