4.6.4 Adapter, Test (M104). Each Test Adapter; Mark 21 Mod O, Mark 26
Mod O, Mark 28 Mod O or Mark 38 Mod O, shall be tested in accordance with
OS 7192, OS 7285, OS 7287 or OS 7667, respectively, and in every case shall
be acceptable.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
5.
5.1 Preservation and packaging.
5.1.1 Level A.

5.1.1.1 Cleaning, drying and preservative application.
5.1.1.2 Component packaging. All cable assemblies and test adapters listed
in LD 479701 shall be individually packaged in accordance with the requirements
specified in LD 284866,
5.1.1.2.1 Each cable assembly, test adapter and connection box individually
packaged as specified under 5,1.1.2, shall be positioned and stowed within
the appropriate instrument case and compartment as designated on the stowage
charts for the Accessory Set. All voids and spaces shall be filled, employing
corrugated fiberboard material and cellulosic cushioning.
5.1.1.2.2 When individually packaged cables, test adapters or connection
boxes cannot be-consolidated and stowed in their respective compartments due
to their packaged size, unit containers shall be omitted or reduced in cubage.
If unit containers are omitted, corrugated fiberboard material and cushioning
shall be employed to provide mechanical protection to the components.
