aa. Momentarily energize the CIRCUIT ADVANCE switch, S3, until the number
one appears in the POSITION window of the test adapter.
bb .  Connect jumper as required by Table VII. On each step the FAULT
light should extinguish; except step 14 which requires energizing the K1 RELAY
switch, S9.  This completes all tests.
4.6.3 Environmental tests.
4.6.3.1 High temperature. The test adapter shall satisfy the high temperature
test described In method 501, procedure 1 of MIL-STD-81O, except that the test
adapter shall be stabilized at ambient temperature prior to operation.
4.6.3.2 Low temperature.  The test adapter shall satisfy the high temperature
test described in method 5-2 of MIL-STD-810.
4.6.3.3 Humidity test.  The test adapater shall satisfy the humidity test
described in method 507, procedure 1 of MIL-STD-81O.
4.6.3.4 Vibration test. The test adapter shall be subjected to the vibration
test described in method 514, procedure XI of MIL-STD-810, except that the
lower frequency shall be 5 Hz.
4.6.3.5 Shock test.  The test adapter shall be subjected to the shock test
described in method 516, procedure II of MIL-STD-810.
4.6.4 Rejection. -Failure of the test sample to satisfy the functional tests
during or after enviromental test as required in the specific environmental
test, shall be considered as failure to satisfy the environmental test and
cause for rejection.  This does not apply to the rain or fungus tests.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY

5.1 Preservation, packing, and packaging. Preservation, Packing, and
packaging for shipment shall be in accordance with MIL-E-17555.
5.2 Marking for shipment and storage. Interior and exterior shiping
containers shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129.
6.  NOTES
6.1 Intended use. The test adapter, MX-9042/G, is intended to be used in
conjunction with the AN/GWM-4 analyzer to check B-52 aircraft weapons monitor-
ing and release system wiring.  The test adapter also performs continuity
test on the MHU-14/C, -20/C, -23/C, and -29/C clip-ins.
6.2 ordering data. Procurement documents should specify the following:
a. Title, number, and date of this specification.
b.  Selection of applicable levels of preservation, packing, and packaging
(see Section 5).
