Ultrasonic welded assemblies.
3.5.1  Seal leakage testing of ultrasonic welded assemblies.
Dwg's 9292616, 9292631.  The ultrasonic welded assemblies listed
above, when subjected to an internal test pressure of 75 3 psig of
dry nitrogen gas, shall not exhibit a pressure drop greater than ten
(10) psig in 5 seconds min.
3.5.2 Torque test of selector switch weldment.  Dwg. 9292679.
The selector switch weldment to the upper housing assembly shall
withstand a torque of 35 inch pounds (in-lbs) min. without cracking
or failure of selector switch/upper housing assembly ultrasonic
weldment.
3.6  Verification of safe condition of S&A Assemblies prior to
assembly to Body Assemblies.  Prior to assembly in the Body
Assembly, positive verification of the following safety features
shall be made for each S&A Assembly:
a.  Presence and safe position of both spring loaded
centrifugal locks.
Safe position of slider release pin and shear pin.
b.
c.  Safe position of spring loaded slider assembly:
distance from end of S&A to slider assembly, maximum (max.) .
d.
Presence of shorting eyelet.
3.7 Verification checks on Body Assembly.
