4.4.2 Destructive tests.  Sampling shall be conducted in accordance
with Level S-3 of Standard MIL-STD-105.
4.5 Inspection provisions.
4.5.1 For examination.  Sample carriers shall be examined in accord-
ance with the classification of defects and Standard MIL-STD-l05.
4.5.2 For destructive tests.  Sample carriers shall be tested in accord-
ance with 4.6 and Standard MIL-STD-105 using an AQL of 4.0 percent
defective for acceptance.
4.5.3 Classification of defects.
4.5.3.1 Carrier, hospital protector headpiece, Ml2 (Dwg D5-4-1002).

4.6 Seam strength test.  The carrier shall be tested for seam strength
in accordance with Method 1011 of Standard FED-STD-406, using one type II
specimen (figure 1011A) from each sample carrier .  The full width of the
seam shall be within the constricted portion of the specimen and the long
dimension of the specimen shall be approximately perpendicular to the seam.
