MIL-C-38418E(AS)
Fast Erection - The procedure of 4.6.2.5 shall be repeated
4.6.2.5.1
except:
In steps c and h, tilt to attitude angles of 32 lO.
a.
In step d,  apply pitch erection by connecting a  jumper
b.
between connector 1J1-8 and 1J1-5.  Replace by a jumper between connector
1J1-7 and 1J1-5 upon completion of this step.
In step i, apply roll erection by connecting a jumper between
c.
connector 1J1-8 and 1J1-6.  Replace the 6.5V C to connector 1J1-6 upon
completion of this step.
In steps  and i, begin timing at attitude angles of 30.
d.
The erection rate shall at least 12 per minute.
4.6.2.6  Heading Precession Rate - The displacement gyroscope shall be
subjected to scorsby motion and tested as follows:
Apply +1.100 0.005 mA dc with positive on North latitude
a.
control connector 1J1-17 and negative on ground 1J1-21.  Determine the
rate of heading change during a 30 minute interval and correct the result
for the earth's rotation to obtain the heading precession rate.
The heading precession rate shall be +9 3/4 per
(1)
hour.  (For the tests specified in 4.4.1.1 and 4.6.12 through 4.6.24, the
normal limit shall be +9 1 1/4 per hour.)
Disconnect the dc input from connector 1J1-17.
b.
Apply  +11.0 0.1 ma dc  with positive on  South latitude
c.
control  connector  1J1-18 and negative on ground connector 1J1-21.
Determine the rate of heading change during a  6 minute interval and
correct  the  result for the earth's rotation to obtain  the heading
precession rate.
The heading precession rate shall be -90 20 per
(1)
hour.
d.
Disconnect the dc input from connector 1J1-18.
4.6.2.7
Linear Acceleration Sensor Threshold - Connect 26 0.25v, 400
Hz to connector 1J1-16 through a 6,000 1% ohm resistor. Measure the
voltage from connector 1J1-16 to 1J1-21 using a high impedance ACVM and
test as follows:
