MIL-C-38418E(AS)
In 4.6.2.7b(1) and e(1), the positive pitch angle and the
a.
negative pitch angle, respectively, shall be 4 30' in lieu of 4 15' .
In 4.6.2.7b(2) and e(2), the positive pitch angle and the
b.
negative pitch angle, respectively, shall be 3 00' in lieu of 30 15' .
4.6.2.8 Turn Acceleration Sensor Threshold - Connect 26 0.25V, 400 HZ
to connector 1J1-9 through a 6,000 1% ohm resistor.  Measure the ac
voltage from connector 1J1-9 to 1J1-21 using a high impedance ACVM and
test as follows:
Rotate the gimbal system in positive roll by following the
a.
sequence defined in 4.6.2.5f, g, and h, except remove the test voltages
per 4.6.2.5h when the roll angle has become approximately 5.
Reapply roll erection and monitor the roll angle and the
b.
voltage indicated by the ACVM. (Roll erection may be applied
intermittently to facilitate testing.)
(1)
The voltage shall increase to 12Vac at a positive roll
angle of 4 15' or lesss  Record the angle.
(2)
The voltage shall increase to 15Vac at a positive roll
angle of 3 15' or greater.  Record the angle.
The voltage shall increase to 21Vac minimum when the
(3)
displacement gyroscope is fully erected in roll.  Record the voltage.
Fully erect the displacement gyroscope in roll.
c.
Rotate the gimbal system in negative roll by following the
d.
sequence defined in 4.6.2.5f, g, and h, except reverse the polarity of
the isolated 11.8V A connection in 4.6.2.5f and remove the test voltages
per 4.6.2.5h when the roll angle has become approximately 50.
Reapply roll erection and monitor the roll angle and the
e.
voltage indicated by the ACVM. (Roll erection may be applied
intermittently to facilitate testing.)
The voltage shall increase to 12Vac at a negative roll
(1)
angle of 40 15' or less.  Record the angle.
(2)
The voltage shall increase to 15Vac at a negative roll
angle of 3 15' or greater.  Record the angle.
