6.3
Definitions
6.3.1 Hermetic Seal - A hermetic seal is defined as a perfectly closed
and airtight seal made between vitric or metallic materials, or both. A
hermetic seal is not intended to included seals accomplished by gaskets or
O-rings.
6.3.2 Failure - where a condition is specified as a requirement, a
failure will be considered as any electrical or mechanical condition
which fails to meet the requirements specified herein.
6.4  Changes From Previous Issue - Asterisks are not used in this
revision to identify changes with respect to the previous issue, due to
the extensiveness of the changes.
6.5
Government-Furnished Property - The contracting officer should
arrange to furnish the property listed in 3.2.2.
