APPENDIX "I" CONT'D
30.2.3 The identified and measured cartridge shall then be removed from the cylinder and
placed in its original position in the recessed holding block.
30.2.4 The procedure prescribed in 30.2.1 through 30.2.3 shall be repeated for each
cartridge in the test sample.
30.2.5 After all cartridges in the test sample have been tested, the overall length of each of
the test cartridges is carefully measured again and the measurements placed on the report form in
such a manner that the measurements can be associated with the initial measurements.
40.0 RECORDING OF DATA
Test sheets shall show the following:
a. Measurements of the overall length of the individual test cartridges, both before
and after the test.
b. Elongation, if any has taken place.
40.1 Test weapon data
a. Weapon number.
b. Total number of cartridges fired in weapon.
