MILITARY SPECIFICATION SHEET
CHASSIS, TRAILER, SIZE 9, MILITARY DESIGN
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
The complete requirements for acquiring the size 9 military design trailer chassis described herein shall
consist of this document and the latest issue of specification MIL-C-52437.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.
The trailer chassis is the drop axle or trailing arm trailer chassis intended for towing behind the
2-1/2-ton and 5-ton M-series military design truck fleet (see GI trucks per MIL-T-46780 and
MIL-T-740).
2.
Military design trailer chassis. The size 9 MD trailer chassis shall be constructed in accordance
with TA13212E3630 with the additional requirements specified in table I and II.
