2.2 Order of precedence. In the event of a conflict between
the text of this specification and the references cited herein,
the text of this specification shall take precedence.
REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Item definition. The Mortar Ballistics Computer (MBC) is
a portable computing device which will allow an operator to
quickly perform functions of the mortar fire direction center.
The MBC shall consist of communication, keyboard, and display
interfaces to enable the operator to do the following:

Receive and transmit digital data messages.
