MILITARY SPECIFICATION
CABLE, ELECTRIC, 65-CONDUCTOR
This specification is approved for use by all
Departments and Agencies of the Department of
Defense.
1 SCOPE
1.1 Scope.  This specification covers requirements for the procurement of synthetic rubber-
jacketed cable assemblies embodying 65 conductors.  These cables are distinguished by their
size, type of insulation, features of construction , and the general conditions of their service
use.
1.2 Classification.
Cables covered by this specification are of two types, as follows (see
6.2.1):
65-conductor, extra flexible; for shipboard use.
(a) Type I.
65-conductor, extra flexible; for deep depth use.
(b) Type II.
2 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
