GENERAL. - Shipboard suitability demonstration
3.15.1
tests stall be performed by COMNAVAIRTESTCEN
to show that the helicopter can meet shipboard suitability contract
guarantees.  The Government will furnish the facilities required
for the demonstration, and will retain full control of the facilities
during these tests.
PHOTOGRAPHIC DEMONSTRATION REQUIREMENTS
3.16
GENERAL. - The photographic equipment listed
3.16.1
for installation and operation in the detail
specification shall be demonstrated at altitudes and power settings
specified in the addendum to this specification.
GROUND CHECK. - All the cameras, magazines, and

associated equipment listed for installation
in the detail specification for the helicopter shall be demonstrated
to show:
Adequate installation clearances including access
(1)
for loading and unloading installed cameras, and/
or magazines; testing, operation, end removal
of units and components of photographic equip-
ment.
(2)
Rotability of cameras and or mounts, if speci-
fied.
Functional checks of cameras, camera control
(3)
systems, viewfinders and other installations,
systems and equipment associated with photography.
Operational checks of applicable flight line
(4)
and/or bench-check equipment.
Proper and safe operation of camera doors, related
(5)
bomb bay doors and illumination release system.
(6)
Adequate stowage and security of spare photographic
equipment, if applicable.
Suitability of handling equipment, if applicable.
(7)
FLIGHT CHECK. - The flight program shall demon-

strate the following:
Camera platform suitability.
