This specification is approved for use by all
Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE

1.1 This specification covers one type of electric drive for the
Gun, 20mm, Automatic: M61 and M61A1. The drive consists of a 474-cycle)
208 volt, dual wound rotor, 3-phase alternating current motor equipped
with an integral, normally applied 28 volt direct current brake and
associated gearing.
