3.1 Materials a n d
components.
3.1.l Materials.
All materials cited on TDPL 116-3-121 or on the subsidiary
-
drawings shall conform to the specifications listed thereon or to the specific

characteristics set forth on the drawings.
3.1.2 Components.
All components of the disperser shall conform to the
specifications and drawings listed on TDPL 116-3-121 and on subsidiary draw-
ings.
The disperser shall be assembled as shown on Drawing

nently deformed when subjected to a minimum hydrostatic pressure of 350 psig
for 1 minute when tested in accordance with 4.4.4.2.
3.4.2 Rupture.  The container shall not rupture prior to sustaining a mini-
mum hydrostatic pressure of 800 psig when tested in accordance with 4.4.4.3.

3.5 Gun.  The gun shall function freely and not leak for a minimum period of
30 seconds when subjected to a minimum hydrostatic or air pressure of 200 psig
when tested in accordance with 4.4.4.4.
3.6 Container assembly.  The container assembly shall not leak at a minimum
air pressure of 200 psig when tested in accordance with 4.4.4.5.
3.7 Harness.
3.7.1 Stitching.  All stitching, except barracking, shall be stitch type 301
I
or 401 of FED-STD-751, 8 to 10 stitches per inch.
3.7.1.1  Type 301 stitching.  Ends of all stitching shall be backstitched 1
inch minimum (1/2 inch on box X and W-W stitching), except where ends are
turned under in a hem or held down by other stitching.  Thread tension shall be
maintained so that there will be no loose or tight stitching, and the lock
shall be embedded in the materials sewn.
