Level shall be as specified (see 6.1).
5.3 Packing.
5.3.1 Disperser assembly.
5.3.1.1 Level A.
The disperser assembly, gun and hose, multi-jet spray
unit, check valve assembly, static strap and clamp, closure plug and applicable
technical publications, prepared and packaged in accordance with 5.2.1, shall
be packed together in a shipping and storage container in accordance with
Drawing 116-3-125.
5.3.1.2 Level B.
The disperser assembly, gun and hose, multi-Jet spray
unit, static strap and clamp, closure plug, check valve assembly and applicable
technical publications prepared and packaged as specified, shall be packed
together in accordance with Drawing 116-3-125, except the shipping and storage
container shall be Grade B, non-preservative treated.
5.3.2 Cylinder, compressed gas and container assembly, agent.
5.3.2.1 Level A.  One of each of the cylinders (cylinder, compressed gas and
container assembly, agent), packaged as specified above (5.2.2.8, 5.2.2.9)
shall be packed together in a wood box conforming to type II, Class 2, Grade A
of MIL-B-2427.  The box shall be of minimum size to contain the two packaged
cylinders.  Fiberboard pads conforming to Grade W5c of PPP-F-320 shall be used
as required to restrict movement within the container.
5.3.2.2 Level B.  One of each of the cylinders (cylinder, compressed gas and
container assembly, agent), packaged as specified above (5.2.2.8, 5.2.2.9)
shall be packed together in a wood box conforming to type II, class 2, grade B
of MIL-B-2427, non-preservative treated.  The box shall be of minimum size to
contain the two packaged cylinders.  Fiberboard pads conforming to grade W5c of
PPP-F-320 shall be used as required to restrict movement within the container.
Marking.  In conjunction with information furnished in the contract or
order, marking shall be as specified herein.
5.4.1 Package marking.  The component packages (5.2) shall
marked by
labeling in accordance with requirements for interior package marking in
MIL-STD-129.  The disperser assembly shall be marked by tagging in accordance
with MIL-STD-129.  Marking shall include information pertinent to the National
Stock Number, item description, quantity and unit of issue, contract or pur-
chase order number and level of packaging and date packaged, as applicable.
The technical publications packages will not require further marking when iden-
tification of the contents is possible through the transparent package.
5.4.2 Packing marking.  The shipping and storage container
be marked
in accordance with Drawings 116-3-133 and 116-3-138.
