Evaluate and correct the applicable production
processes and procedures to prevent recurrence of the
same defect(s) in future production.
Examine dispensers, partially assembled dispensers,
c.
and components (including components and subassemblies
at in-process or final assembly) to insure that
material containing the same defect is purged from the
inventory and not presented to the Government for
acceptance.
d.
Submit the results of the failure analysis and
corrective actions taken to the Government for review
and approval prior to submitting a reconditioned lot
or dispenser for retest.
4.6.2
Acceptance tests.  After break-in run (see 3.5.1) each
dispenser shall be examined as specified in 4.5.4 and subjected to
acceptance tests specified at the place of manufacture in TABLE
VIII.  Except for equipment and component installation and servicing
performed by the contractor as a final processing of dispensers for
acceptance, dispensers shall be completely assembled.  After the
tests, the dispenser shall be examined for evidence of fuel or
lubricant leakage, or other deficiencies.
NOTE:  All acceptance tests shall be classified as major defects
unless otherwise specified.

4.6.2.1 Acceptance test failure.  If a dispenser fails to pass
any acceptance test specified, herein, the government inspector
shall stop the test until evidence has been provided by the
contractor that corrective action has been taken to eliminate the
cause of failure.
4.6.2.2 Seals.  To determine compliance with 3.4.1.3, after
testing, the bearings shall be checked for dirt contamination and
lubricant leakage.
4.6.2.3 Launcher tire.  To determine conformance to 3.4.2.1.4,
the tire pressure shall be checked for proper inflation.
4.6.2.4 Engine.  To determine conformance to 3.4.2.2.3, the
engine shall be checked for proper installation and any leaking of
lubricants, fuel and coolants.
