examinations and tests, the contracting officer should
specify which examination and tests will be conducted by the
Government and which examinations and tests shall be
conducted by the contractor (see 4.4.3).

furnished (see 3.5).
6.2.1 When dispensers are procured separately from the chassis
on which they will be mounted, procurement documents should include
make, model, and serial number of trailer on which the dispenser
will be mounted.
6.2.2 Lubricants. The contracting officer should furnish a
list of lubricants applicable to the dispenser; covered by this
specification as contained in the Federal Supply Catalog, Department
of Defense Section, Identification List C9100-IL, for FSC Group 91.
6.2.3 Drawings. Drawings listed in Section 2 of this
specification under the heading of US ARMY ARMAMENT Research and
Development Center (ARDC) may also include drawings prepared by, and
identified as, Edgewood Arsenal, U.S. Army Armament Research and
Development Command, (ARRADCOM Frankford Arsenal, Rock Island
Arsenal or Picatinny Arsenal drawings. Technical data originally
prepared by these activities is now under the cognizance of ARDC.
6.3 Preproduction model. Any changes or deviations of
production dispensers from the approved preproduction model during
production will be subject to the approval of the contracting
officers. Approval of the preproduction model will not relieve the
contractor of his obligation to furnish dispensers conforming to
this specification.
