3.4.3.1.1 Front panel. All DU controls shall be mounted on
the front panel. Controls shall include warhead/fuze type
selector switches, range and penetration selector switches,
selector switches for controlling rate of fire, firing mode and
quantity, five zone arm pushbutton switches, and a push to test
switch. A rounds remaining display shall be used to indicate the
number of rockets remaining to be fired for each zone.
3.4.3.1.1.1 Warhead/fuze selectors. The DU shall divide
rocket tubes in four different launchers into five firing zones.
The zones shall be grouped as shown in Figure 1. Each zone must
be loaded with rockets having the same warhead/fuze combination
with the warhead/fuze selector switch being set accordingly. Each
warhead/fuze selector shall have 12 positions with the following
legends and associated information.
