MILITARY SPECIFICATION .
EJECTOR, RETRO, PNEUMATIC, MARINE MARKER A/A47U- 1 (*)
This specification has been approved by the
Bureau of Naval Weapons, Department of the Navy.
1.
SCOPE
Scope - The equipment covered by this specification shall launch rounds from

Naval ASW Aircraft in an aft direction with an ejection velocity equal to the aircraft speed so that
the round will mark the spot in the water which was directly below the aircraft at the instant of
launching the round.
Classification - The Marine Marker Pneumatic Retro-Ejector A/A47U-1(*)
