3.4.1.1 Counterclockwise.-  The running torque required to ro-
tate the body of the fuze setter counterclockwise about the adapter
shall not exceed 4.0 pound-inches at the standard ambient tempera-
ture of 3.3.2, and 8.0 pound-inches at the extreme operating tempera-
tures of 3.3.1.
3.4.1.2 Clockwise.-  There shall be no slippage between the
adapter and the body of the fuze setter when a 300 pound-inch torque
is applied to the body in the clockwise direction.
3.4.2 Socket.-  When inserted into the adapter the socket shall
lock in place shall be free from shake or wobble. The force re-
quired to-remove the socket from or replace it into the adapter shall
be not less than 2 pounds nor more than 20 pounds. These requirements
shall be met with the fuze setter in the operating position.
3.4.3 Light switch.-  With a three-volt dc power source applied
as shown on Drawing F8614051, the fuze setter shall meet the require-
ments of 3.4.3.1 and 3.4.3.2.
3.4.3.1 Function.-  The switch shall function to complete the
circuit when a force of 4 1 pounds is applied to depress the button.
The switch shall return to the open position when the force is re-
leased.
3.4.3.2 Illumination stability.- With the switch button de-
pressed, there shall be no flicker or illumination failure when the
fuze setter is shaken manually.
3.5 Continuity.-  The light assembly shall demonstrate continuity
in accordance with the applicable electrical schematic drawings.
QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS

4.1 Responsibility for inspection.-  Unless otherwise specified
in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for
the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein.
Except as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own faci-
lities or any commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government. The
Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set
forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary
to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements.
4.1.1 General Provisions.-  The component inspection requirements
of MIL-F-13926 form a part of the Quality Assurance Provisions of
this specification.  Definitions of inspection terms shall be as listed
in MIL-STD-109.
4.2 Inspection Provisions.
4.2.1 Submission of Product.-  Unless otherwise specified herein,
or by the contracting officer, inspection lot size, formation, and
presentation of lots shall be in accordance with "Submission of Pro-
duct" as specified in MIL-STD-105.
