4.5.26 Non-environmental test.  A random sample of twelve
(12) fuzes shall be selected and subjected to the test and
acceptance or rejection criteria as specified in 4.5.28.
4.5.27  Helicopter vibration test.  Fuzes shall be subjected
to Helicopter Vibration as specified in Figure 2.  Vibration
conditioning at resonance is not required.  Following vibration
conditioning, the fuzes shall be subjected to the tests and
acceptance or rejection criteria specified in 4.5.28.
NOTE:
The fuzes shall be subjected to and must pass the
continuity test (4.5.20) subsequent to the vibration
test.  If one or more continuity failures occur in the
test sampl e the lot shall be rejected.
4.5.28 Acceptance criteria.  The sample fuzes from the
Non-environmental (12) and Environmental tests (20) shall be
combined into one sample and subjected to the tests specified in
Table V and either Figure 3 or Figure 4, whichever is applicable.

4.5.29  M439 fuze non-arming test.  The fuze in the
horizontal plane with the Gweight located in the downward
direction (closest to earth), shall be assembled to the test
equipment in accordance with 4.4.3.  The equipment shall
accelerate the loaded fuze in a clockwise direction to 12.00 g's
plus or minus 0.5 g's for a minimum of three (3) seconds. An
examination shall be made for rotor in the safe position.  Any
fuze that fails the requirements of the non-arming test shall be
classed defective.
