3.4.2 Module turn on time. After applying -16 Vdc to Pin 1 for
100 msec, wait 7 sec and then short Pins 2 and 4 together. An
output plus shall appear at Pin 3 within 600 microsecond of the
shorting of Pins 2 and 4.
3.5 M433 S&A device without switch (S&A).
3.5.1 Separation of annular gear from #2 gear and pinion
assembly. The separation distance between the annular gear and #2
gear and pinion, when the rotor and #2 gear are at their extreme
separated position in the S&A, shall be .038 inch maximum.
3.5.2 Rotor reset capability.
The rotor assembly in the S&A,
after being rotated between 26 degrees and 35 degrees from the safe
position and then released, shall without external assistance and in
a continuous motion, be returned by the spring loaded setback weight
to its fully safe and locked position.
3.5.3 Setback weight return capability. The setback weight in
the S&A, after being bottomed to the base of the rotor housing by a
force of 20lbs. applied equally to its two top surfaces and then
released, shall return in a continuous motion to the fully safe
position of locking the rotor.
3.5.4 Alignment of detonator cavity.
The detonator cavity when
the rotor is in the free armed detented position, shall be in line
with the outside diameter of the rotor housing within .060 in T.I.R.
3.5.5 Height of rotor assembly.
The height of rotor above the
inside surface of the rotor housing, with rotor in safe position,
shall be 1.030 in. max.
