e.  No parts shall be broken or deformed which could present a
safety hazard in handling or inadvertent firing.
6.2 Intended use.  The fuze assemblies covered by this
specification are intended for the 2.75 Inch Rocket System.
6.3 Ordering data.
See MIL-A-48078 (PA).
6.4 Submission of design for approval. See 6.2 of
MIL-A-48078. Submit equipment designs, as required to Commander,
AMCCOM, ATTN: AMSMC-QAF-I (D), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.
This address will be specified on the Contract Data Requirements
List, DD Form 1423, in the contract. Unless otherwise specified
data item DI-R-1714 will apply.
6.5 Government furnished parts.
6.5.1 Packaging and packing.  The procuring agency will
provide the packaging and the packing for the Forty Foot Drop.
6.5.2 Boosters, booster leads and warheads.
a.  The procuring agency will provide inert boosters, inert
booster leads and M230 warheads for the five-foot drop test.
b.  The procuring agency will provide inert boosters, inert
booster leads, M230 warheads and inert rocket motors for the
forty-foot drop test.
c.  The procuring agency will provide boosters, booster leads,
M151 warheads, M230 warheads, photoflash charges and rocket motors
for the ballistic firing test.
6.6 Defect reporting.  From each lot produced, the contractor
shall submit to US AMCCOM HQ, ATTN:  AMSMC-QAF-T(D), results of
the Module, Jolt, Jumble, Helicopter Vibration, and Centrifuge
tests within three (3) days after completion of acceptance testing
of the lot. If fuze and tests in addition to acceptance
requirements are utilized to evaluate the lot, results of these
tests will also be submitted three (3) days after the additional
tests are completed.  The defective fuzes shall be saved pending
review of the results.
6.7 Drawings.  Drawings listed in Section 2 of this
specification under the heading US Army Armament Research,
Development, and Engineering Center, ARDEC, may also include
drawings prepared by, and identified as Edgewood Arsenal,
Frankford Arsenal, Rock Island Arsenal, or Picatinny Arsenal
drawings. Technical data originally prepared by these activities
is now under the cognizance of ARDEC.
