4.5.4.6 Electro magnetic interference (EMI). The motor selected
shall be subjected to the test for EMI as specified in the applicable
drawing. Test equipment shall be in accordance with MIL-I-6181 and
satisfactory to the contracting officer. If any motor fails to comply
with the EMI requirements specified in MIL-I-6181, it shall be classed
defective and the lot shall be rejected.
4.5.5 Chute, ammo, flex.
4.5.5.1 Freedom of rounds. This test shall be performed as
specified on the applicable drawing using an approved fixture. If any
chute fails to comply with the requirement specified on the applicable
drawing it shall be classed defective. This test is a non-destructive
test.  Chutes  may  be  used  in  subsequent  testing.
4.5.5.2 Twisting. This test shall be performed as specified on the
applicable drawing using an approved fixture. If any chute fails to
comply with the requirement specified on the applicable drawing it shall
be classed defective.
4.5.5.3 Flexibility (3 positions). This test shall be performed as
specified on the applicable drawing using an approved fixture. If any
chute fails to comply with the requirement specified on the applicable
drawing it shall be classed defective.
4.5.6 Magnetic particle test. The procedures and equipment for
performing this inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-I-6868 and
MIL-W-63150 and shall be satisfactory to the Contracting Officer.
Personnel performing this inspection shall be qualified in accordance
with MIL-STD-410.
4.5.7 Continuity and insulation resistance of cable assembly, W1
booster drive. These tests shall be performed using methods and
equipment satisfactory to the contracting officer. If any cable assembly
fails to comply with the requirements specified on the applicable
drawing, It shall be classed defective and removed from the lot.
4.5.8 Performance characteristics of feed assembly, ammo.
4.5.8.1 Cycling. The feed assembly, when assembled to an approved
test fixture, using linked dummy ammunition, shall be capable of cycling
amnunition in accordance with the requirement of 3.6.1.
