4.4.1.3 Failure and retest.  Failure to meet any of the requirements
specified herein or pass any of the first article examinations or tests
specified in Table I shall be cause for rejection.  Full particulars
concerning the failure and measures to be taken to correct the defects shall
be forwarded to the government inspector, contracting officer, and responsible
design activity with 30 days of the failure (see 6.2). Upon resubmission of
the unit for inspection after a failure, the inspection shall start at the
beginning of the test during which the failure occurred.
