MILITARY SPECIFICATION
HEATERS, COOLANT, ENGINE:
MUTIFUEL-BURNING, 24-VOLT D.C .
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
1.1 Scope. This specification covers 24-volt direct-current,
multifuel-burning, forced-draft, engine-coolant heaters.
1.2 Classification. The coolant heaters shall be of the following
nominal capacities, as specified (see 6.2):
Capacity A - 15,000 Btu per hour.
Capacity B - 30,000 Btu per hour.
Capacity C -60,000 Btu per hour.
2.
