Unit Packaging. - The igniter shall be packaged in a metal con-

tainer fabricated in accordance with BuOrd Drawing 2185555. THe container shall
comply with the requirements of MI L-C- 124B, Type Ill.
5.2
Packing.
5.2.1
Level A. - In addition to the following Level A packing shall be
in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations 49 CFR 71-78. The package
material and method of packaging shall I comply with BuOrd Drawing- 2185554.
5.2.1.1
Exterior Containers, - The unit containers shall be in accordance
with BuOrd Drawing 2185556. These exterior containers shall then be pal letized in
accordance with BuOrd Drawing 2185553, except that shipments of small quantities
--
which do not warrant pallet size loads may be shipped in the exterior container only.
Adequate bracing shaould be assured to prevent movement or damage in transit.
5.3
Marking.
5.3.1
Special Markings. - Marking of exterior containers shall be in
accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations 49 CFR 71-78.
5.3.2
Normal Markings. - In addition to the markings required by con-
tract or order, unit packages and shipping containers shall I be marked in accordance
`with the requirements of MIL -STD-126.
5.4
Storage. - Igniters shall be capable of storage in any position for
a period of three-n a storage temperature range of -40*F to 140F without
deterioration.

NOTES
6.1
Intended Use. - Igniters covered by this specification are intended
to be used to ignite the Rocket Motor Mk 25 Mods 0, 1 and 2.
