5.1.3
Packing
Level A - When level A is specified as the packing requirement> each
5.1.3.1
launcher shall be packed in overseas containers conforming to Specification `
wR-54/174.  These containers should be palletized in accordance with the general
requirements of WR-54 (minimum of four containers in a palletized load).
Level B - When level B is specified as the packing requirement, each
5.1.3.2
launcher shall be packed in domestic containers conforming to Specification
issued by the Naval Weapons Handling Laboratory, Earle, New Jersey. These
containers should be palletized in accordance with the general requirements of
MIL-STD-l322 (mininimum of four containers in a palletized load).
5.1.3.3
Level C - When level C packing is specified, each launcher shall be
packed in containers acceptable by the common carrier which will insure safe
delivery at the lowest rate to the point of delivery. Containers shall comply
with the carrier's rules and regulations applicable to the mode of transportation.
5.2
Markin g - All marking for interior and exterior containers shall conform
to MIL-STD-129 and shall include the following:

6.1
Use - The rocket launcher packages covered by this specification are
intended for use as domestic and overseas shipping containers for 2.75 folding
Fin Aircraft Rockets, Shipping Configuration, and for service launching of 2.75
Folding Fin Aircraft Rockets, Flight Configuration.
6.2
Adherence to Drawings and Specifications - Insofar as the contractor
is required by provisions of this specification to comply with the drawings listed
in Section 2, should compliance with these drawings conflict with the performance
and test requirements specified herein, the contractor should promptly notify
"procuring activity" of such fact and appropriate changes will be made in the
applicable drawings, parts or performance requirements as authorized by the
"procuring activity".
6.3
Availability of Dummy Stores for Testing - The contractor shall submit
requests to the Air Systems Command for dummy and inert stores to be used for
testing as required by this specification.
