LOADER , WEAPONS, AIR LAUNCHED, A/S32K-1D S32K-1D D
This specification is approved for use by the Department
of the Navy, and is available for use by all Departments
and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
1.1
Scope. The specification covers an air launched
weapons loader developed as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Expeditionary
Airfield Program. The loader will be designated as Model A/S32K-1D and
referred to as the second generation loader or the "loader." The following
modifications are present in the loader:
A Diesel engine of increased horsepower.

A new hydrostatic propulsion system.
c.
Improved hydraulic system.
d.
A new power steering system.
e.
Improved hydraulic fluid cooling capability.
f.
Improved disc type brakes.
Improved actuating controls for lift system.
