or store, shall be placed on a 20 percent (11 19') grade, nose down, and
the service brakes applied.  There shall be no forward movement within 15
minutes.  The brakes shall lock all four wheels when applied while
traveling at maximum speed under full load conditions.
4.8.2.7
Parking brakes. The loader, with a 4500 pound weapon
or store, shall be placed on a 20 percent (11  19') grade, nose down.
with the parking brake applied, there shall be no forward movement of the
loader.
4.8.2.8
Accumulator .  The service brake hydraulic system
shall demonstrate its ability to charge the accumulator to capacity while

shall demonstrate the ability to deliver not less than five emergency
stops.
4.8.2.10
Front wheels.  The front wheel side frames shall

thirty feet per minute, using the rear controls and the engine running at
2400 rpm, from 2 to 89 inches above the ground.  It shall be demonstrated
that control increments of 1/8 inch or less can be provided through the
lift range.  The "fail safe" device shall demonstrate the ability to
prevent any downward movement when the engine is off and the pressure
line is disconnected from the lift cylinder.
4.8.2. 11.1
Azimuth mechanism.  The azimuth mechanism shall
demonstrate its ability to move a 4500 pound weapon or store horizontally
20 degrees to either side of center and in 1/8 inch increments or less.
4.8.2.11.2
