TELESCOPE
AND
QUADRANT:M171
This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command and is available for
use by all Departments and Aqencies of the Department of
Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a telescope and
quadrant mount which supports a panoramic telescope and fire
control quadrant . The mount provides adjustments i npitch and
to compensate for angles of cants for indirect fire. (see 6.1)
