3.
REQUIREMENTS
3 . 1 Regulations pertaining to radioactive devices. - Marking,
i d e n t i f i c a t i o n , handling, and shipping of radioactive devices shall be
in accordance with MIL-STD-1458.
3 . 2 F a b r i c a t i o n . -  The mount shall be manufactured in accordance
with Drawing F10553215.
3.3 General specification. -
T h e following requirements of
MIL-F-13926 shall be met:
a . Order of precedence
b .  D i m e n s i o n s and tolerances
c .  I n o r g a n i c protective surface finishes
d .  P a r t identification and marking
e .  Workmanship
3.4 Environmental.
Storage t emperatures. -  The mount shall show no evidence of

p h y s i c a l failure due to being thermally stabilized at -80 and +160
F a h r e n h e i t (F).
Operating temperatures. -  T h e mount shall meet the applicable

r e q u i r e m e n t s of 3.5.11 while thermally stabilized at -40 and +150F.
3 . 4 . 3 V i b r a t i o n . -  T h e mount shall be
vibrated in
a vertical plane
a t a constant frequency of thirty cycles per
second with
an amplitude
o f 1/16 inch (1/8 inch total excursion) for
a period of
five minutes
p l u s or minus fifteen seconds.  S u b s e q u e n t
to vibration
there shall
b e no evidence of physical failure.
