accordance with Dwgs. 12624515 and 12624514) is the preferred
packaging. Packing in Plastic Ammunition Container: PA-83 and
corresponding Steel Container (in accordance with Dwgs. 9333791 and
9243805) is the alternative method.
5.6 Shipping.
When mines from more than one lot interfix are
shipped at one time, each lot shall be' kept separate and the
division between lots clearly indicated to prevent mixing of the
lots in transist.

6.1 Intended use. The Mine, Antipersonnel: HE, M74 covered by
this specification is intended for use as an antipersonnel mine
dispensed from Dispenser, Mine, Ground Vehicle, M128.

US Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center,
AMSMC-QAT-I (D), Dover, New Jersey 07801-5001.
6.4 Distribution of ammunition data cards and test data.
Distribution of data cards and test data shall include the
following: Commander, US Army Armament Research, Development and
Engineering Center, ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M (D), Dover, New Jersey
07801-5001.
6.5 Drawings. Drawings listed in Section 2 of this
specification under the heading US Army Armament Research.
Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) may also include drawings
prepared by, and identified as, Edgewood Arsenal, Frankford Arsenal,
Rock Island Arsenal, ARRADCOM, or Picatinny Arsenal drawings.
Technical data originally prepared by these activities is now under
cognizance of ARDEC.
6.6 Changes from previous issue. Due to the extensiveness of
the changes, asterisks to identify changes with respect to the
previous issue are not used in this revision.
