4. 4.5.1 Impact medium.  The impact or target material will
consist of three (3) 1.5 inch thick particle boards (clipboard),
with a density of 30 2 pounds per cubic foot, with a 1/2 in.
thick steel back-up plate.
4.4.5.2 SD setter.  The SD setter shall provide the MCD
signal necessary to initiate and set the proper SD time into the
mine.  The signals necessary to perform this function are
contained on Drawing 1183AS616, Standard Waveform.
Design to be submitted in accordance with 6.3.
4.5 Test methods and procedures
4.5.1 Density of booster pellet.  Density of the booster
pellet, when required - See 4.4.3.1 and Dwg. 9292604, shall be
performed in accordance with the procedure specified in ASTM D792
"Specific Gravity and Density of Plastics of Displacement",
Method A-1.  The contractor may use alternate procedures than that
specified herein, subject to the approval of the Government. If
the sample of pellets from 4.4.3.1 fails to comply with the
density requirements, the quantity of parts represented by the
sample shall be subjected to 100% weight inspection,
