PACKAGING
5.
5.1 Packaging requirements. The only packaging requirements
that are required is for intraplant storage prior to loading,
assembling and packing of the CBU-78/B and CBU-89/B Dispensers.
6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use. The Mine, Antipersonnel: HE, BLU-92/B
covered by this specification is intended for use as an
antipersonnel mine dispensed from Dispensers CBU-89/B and CBU-78/B.
6.2 Ordering data.
See MIL-A-48078.
6.3 Submission of inspection equipment designs for approval.
See MIL-A-48078. Submit equipment designs as required to
Commander, U.S Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering
Center, AMSMC-QAT-I (D), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey
07806-5000. This address will be specified on the Contract Data
Requirements List, DD Form 1423 in the contract. Unless otherwise
specified, data item DI-R-1714 listed in 6.8 will apply.
6.4 Submission of results from contractor conducted
examinations and tests. Unless otherwise specified by the
Contracting Officer, the contractor shall forward requested
records of examinations and tests to Commander, ARDEC, ATTN:
AMSMC-QAT-M (D) , Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000. Data
Item DI-R-1724 listed in 6.8 will apply.
6.5 Distribution of ammunition data cards. Distribution off
data cards shall include the following: Commander, ARDEC, ATTN:
AMSMC-QAT-M (D) , Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000. Data
Item DI-MISC-80043 listed in 6.8 will apply.

6.7 Drawings. Drawings listed in Section 2 of this
specification under the heading US Army Armament Research
Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) may also include
drawings prepared by, and identified as, ARRADCOM, Edgewood
Arsenal, Frankford Arsenal, Rock Island Arsenal, or Picatinny
Arsenal drawings. Technical data originally prepared by these
activities is now under cognizance of ARDEC.
