4.7.4 Proof firinq.  Mounts selected as specified in 4.5.1
shall be proof fired as specified in Table IV.  Recuperator
nitrogen pressure shall be set at 2300 25 psig prior to firing.
All measurements required by 3.4.3 shall be recorded for each
firing.  Hydraulic pressure supplied to the gun mount shall be
2750 + 100 psig.  If a M110 vehicle is used, both traversing and
elevating drive assembly slip clutches shall be adjusted per TM
9-2300-216-34.2.  All measurements required by 3.4.3 shall be
recorded for each firing.  Observation shall be made for erratic
motion in counter recoil.  After firing, each mount shall be
examined to determine compliance with oil leakage requirements
specified in 3.4.5.
