MILITARY SPECIFICATION
NICKEL BAR, FLAT WIRE (RIBBON) AND STRIP
(FOR ELECTRICAL USE)
1.
SCOPE
1.1  This specification covers one grade of nickel for electronic use in
the forms of bar, flat wire (ribbon) and strip (see 6.1).
1.2
Classification.
1.2.1  Grade and tempers.  The one grade of nickel shall be commercially
pure.  It shall be furnished in the following tempers, as specified
(see 6.2).
Annealed
As drawn
1.2.2  Finish.  Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order,
nickel bar, flat wire (ribbon) and strip shall be furnished in bright
finish.
2.
APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1  The following documents of the issue in effect on date of invitation
for bids or request for proposal, form a part of this specification to the
extent specified herein.
