4.4.3 Testing.  Testing is described in the First Article and
Quality Conformance Inspection forms.
4..4.4 Inspection equipment.  The inspection equipment required
to perform the examinations and test prescribed herein is described
in the "Paragraph Reference/Inspection Method Column" of the First
Article and Quality Conformance forms.  Test and measuring equipment
and inspection facilities of sufficient accuracy, quality and
quantity to permit performance of the required inspection shall be
established and maintained by contractor.  The establishment and
maintenance of a calibration system to control the accuracy of the
measuring and test equipment shall be in accordance with
MIL-STD-45662.  The contractor shall submit for approval inspection
equipment designs in accordance with the terms of the contract (see
6.3).
4.5 Methods of examination and test. The methods of
examination and test shall be in accordance with MIL-N-87144 for
resistor and capacitor elements inspection.
4.5.1 Visual and mechanical examination. Capacitor-Resistor
networks shall be examined to verify that the materials, design,
contsruction, physical dimensions, markings per MIL-STD-1285, and
workmanship are in accordance with the applicable requirements (See
3.2, 3.3, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, 3.5 and 3.8).
5.
PACKAGING
5.1 Preservation - Packaging.  The C-R networks shall be
packaged in accordance with the requirements specified for resistor
networks (those covered by MIL-R-83401) level B of MIL-R-39032.
5.2 Packing.  The C-R networks shall be packed in accordance
with level B of MIL-R-39032.
5.3 Marking.  The packed components shall be marked in
accordance with the commercial requirements of MIL-STD-1188.
5.4 Shipping.  When C-R networks from more than one lot are
shipped together, each lot shall be kept separate, and the divisions
between lots clearly indicated to prevent mixing of lots in transit.
6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use.  The networks covered by this specification
are intended for single-use} non-repairable military devices.
