3.3.3.2
I n t e r c o n n e c t i o n Cabling - The equipment shall
be capable of satisfactory operation using external wiring in ac-
c o r d a n c e with the applicable requirements of Specification
M I L - W - 5 0 8 5 .  The external wiring shall be unshielded, except
that a minimum number of the individual wires may be shielded
w h e n demonstrated as necessary to meet interference control
requirements and provided the assembly of the cable to its plugs
m a y be easily accomplished.  External cables and that portion
of the connectors attached to the cables shall not be supplied as
part of the equipment.

a b i l i t y Program, b u i l t - i n test features, construction and packaging,
p r o v i s i o n s for test points, and other maintainability parameters
shall be as specified in Specification AR-10.
3.3.8
N o m e n c l a t u r e , Nameplates and Identification
Marking - N o m e n c l a t u r e and serial number assignment, name-
plate approval and identification marking shall be in accordance
w i t h Specification MIL-N-18307.
3.3.9
Standard Conditions -  T h e following conditions shall
b e used to establish normal performance characteristics under
standard conditions and for making l a b o r a t o r y bench tests:
