MIL-N-81857(AS)
3.4.25  (continued)
s e l e c t o r shall continuously sample the signal delivered from each
of the two antennas in an alternating manner such that the antenna
transfer control voltage is s witched to effect transfer of antennas
not less than 3 nor more than 6 seconds after the start of the sam-
pling period for a given antenna.  The sampling period shall be
adjustable between these limits.
3 . 4 . 2 6 S t a b i l i t y -  T h e receiver-transmitter frequency
stability shall be as follows:
3 . 4 . 2 6 . 1 Transmitter Frequency Stability - The frequency
of the transmitter shall be maintained within 0.0087% of the spe-
c i f i e d channel frequency.
3 . 4 . 2 6 . 2 Receiver Frequency Stability:
L o c a l Oscillator Stability - The frequency

o f the receiver local oscillator shall be maintained within 0.0087%
of its nominal value.
-  The center frequency in the

Stability
IF passband shall be maintained within 36 KHz of its nominal value.
3 . 4 . 2 7  Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - The AGC signal
shall be generated subsequent to decoding and the AGC bus impe-
dance shall be consistent with the equipment performance require-
m e n t s .  In the A/A mode the equipment shall not lock-on to any
r e p l y which is more than 12 db weaker than any other reply.
3.4.28 Blanking Pulses:
3 . 4 . 2 8 . 1 Internally Generated Blanking Pulse - This
r e c e i v e r - t r a n s m i t t e r shall generate a single blanking pulse, with
c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s specified below, for each interrogation pulse pair
t r a n s m i t t e d and for each single pulse reply transmitted. The
blanking pulse shall be capable of suppressing other pulse equipments
in the same frequency range, including another equipment identical
to the one described by this specification.
( 1 ) Positive polarity.
(2) Not less than 15 nor more than 70 volts
amplitude across 500 50 ohms in
parallel with 1000 uuf load impedance.
