(The preparation for delivery requirements specified herein apply only for direot Government procurements.
For the extent of applicability of the preparation for delivery requirements of referenced documents listed in
section 2, see 6.4.)
5.1 Cleaning, Reservation. packaging packing and marking. The equipment, accessories, repair parts,
tools and technioal manuals shall be prepared for the level of shipment as specified (see 6.1) in accordance
with MIL-P-16789. Contact preservatives shall not be applied to the liquid supply tank, gage glass and nonfer-
rous items.
5.1.1 Drawings.
Drawings shall be prepared for the level of shipment as specified (see 6.1) in accordance
with MIL-D-1000/2.
