(g) Output connector.
3.2.14 Audible frequencies.  The design of the power supply shall be
such as to minimize the generation of audible frequencies (hum).
3.2.15 Finish.  The front panel, frame, chassis, and cabinet shall
have a gray baked enamel or plated industrial finish acceptable to the
procuring activity.
3.2.16 Enclosures.  The power supply enclosures shall be designed
with a front access door on which all meters and controls shall be
mounted, with the possible exception of the output connector.  The en-
closure shall be so designed to permit stacking two units, one upon the
other, with provisions for hoisting the unit by means of removable eye-
bolts in its top.  Design of the enclosure shall be subject to approval
of the procuring activity.
3.2.17 Technical manual.  A manual shall be supplied for each power
supply and shall contain the theory of operation, schematic diagrams,
installation instructions, operating information, maintenance and trouble-
shooting procedures, and a parts list.  The instruction manual shall be
packed with each unit.  A recommended spare parts list shall also be in-
cluded.  Contents of the manual shall be subject to the approval of the
procuring activity.
3.2.18 Installation data.  The contractor will provide the procuring
activity with a reproducible copy of basic installation data within 90
days after receipt to the contract.  This data shall give all informa-
tion necessary for planning the installation of power supplies, such as
