d.  The eighty (80) sensor assemblies from 4.3.1 (d) shall be
subjected to the tests specified in 4.5.7.1 through 4.5.7.5. An
additional ten (10) sensor assemblies from 4.3.1 (d) shall be
conditioned to -25 + 5F and subjected to the release test
specified in 4.5.7.2 for informational purposes.  The pressure
for this test shall be 300 + 25 psi applied for 1 second maximum.
e.  The twenty-five (25) AD switches from 4.3.1 (e) shall be
subjected to all the examinations and tests specified in
4.4.2.12.
f.  The two hundred sixteen (216) housings from 4.3.1 (f)
shall be subjected to the following:
1.
All the tests specified in 4.5.12.
2.  After completion of the tests specified in 4.5.12, the
jumper wires shall be soldered in and the housings shall be
subjected to the examinations of 4.4.2.23 after molding over
the test pads.
After completion of the examinations in f above, the two

hundred sixteen (216) housing shall be prepared as specified in
4.5.15.  One test bar shall be cast from each molding compound
batch used to bond the plug to the housing.  The test bar(s)
shall be subjected to the compressive strength test specified in
4.5.10.2.  The assemblies shall be finished to comply with Dug.
9298399 inspected per 4.4.2.24.  The 216 non-hazardous mines
will be subjected to a ballistics acceptance test at a
Government test facility.
4.3.3  Rejection.  The first article quantity shall be rejected
if any of the foil owing occurs:
a.  Any test bar fails to comply with the compressive strength
If a test bar
requirement for the molding compound.  NOTE:
fails due to a void, a second test bar from the same batch may
be tested in its place.
b.  Any barrier assembly fails any of the examinations
specified in 4.4.2.2 or any barrier assembly fails the shear
test specified in 4.5.5.
c.  Any S&A assembly fails the arm or non-arm test or any S&A
assembly fails all examinations specified in 4.4.2.4 excluding
Major Defect 101.
