e.  If the mine fails to fire in the self-destruct mode, it.
shall be classed as a safe dud and returned for failure analysis
to the HTF manufacturer.
f.  After completion of the hazardous dud inputs listed in
4.5.17a - 4.5.17e, the mine shall be placed in a secure area and
allowed to time out to 110% of maximum self destruct time for
projectile type under test.  The time starts when the mines are
placed in a secured area.
4.5.18  Mine scoring criteria.  Results of mines so tested in
accordance with 4.5.15 shall be scored in accordance with Tables 4-1
to 4-3.
a.  Units selected for breakwire functioning shall be scored
in accordance with Table 4-1.
b.  Units selected for anti-disturbance functioning shall be
scored in accordance with Table 4-2.
c.  Units selected for self-destruct functioning shall be
scored in accordance with Table 4-3.
d.  Sample sets for earlies, safe duds, and hazardous duds
shall include all recoverable mines.
