3.10.1.2 Eyepiece and erecting system.  The following values (for the
axis specified shall be met with 2870 100 Kelvin (K) radiance, modu-
lated at the special frequency (angular spacing) indicated, incident to the
exit pupil of the eyepiece and erecting system and the contrast transfer
values obtained at the focal plane.

3.10.2 Luminous transmittance.  The requirements of 3.10.2.1 and 3.10.2.2
shall be met with a source of rediance at the focal plane of the system speci-
fied.
3.10.2.1 Objective system.
a. Luminous transmittance.  Luminous transmittance shall be not less
than 58% when observed through any area of the entrance pupil of the periscope.
b.  Transmittance at 0.85 micron.
Transmittance at 0.85 micron shall
be not less than 35%.
