4.5 Methods of inspection.
4.5.1 Non-activated voltage.  Each battery cell of the power
supply assembly shall be checked for conformance with the
requirements of 3.3.1 when measured by a 10 megohm input impedance
voltmeter.
(Non-destructive test)
4.5.2 Shorting bar resistance.  The continuity-resistance of
each shorting bar circuit shall be measured, using an approved
ohmmeter .  Observation shall be made for compliance with
requirements of 3.3.2.

4.5.3 Battery lead pull test.  A five (5) pound plus two (2)
pound force shall be applied to each lead in.a direction parallel to
the lead using approved test equipment.  Observation shall be made
for compliance with requirements of 3.4.
4.5.4 Battery lead weld integrity.  Visual examination of the
lead welds shall be performed at a minimum of 10x magnification.
Observation shall be made for compliance with the requirement of 3.5.
4.5.5  Shorting bar and connector assembly solder workmanship.
Soldering and inspection shall conform to MIL-S-45743.  Visual
examination shall be performed at a minimum of 10x magnification.
Observation shall be made for compliance with requirements of
3.6.1.

4.5.6 Solderability.  The power supply assembly leads shall be
subjected to solderability procedure of MIL-S-45743.  Observation
shall be made for compliance with requirements of 3.6.2.
(Destructive test)
5.
PACKAGING
5.1  Preservation and packaging.  The Power Supply Assembly
shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-1169,
level C.
5.2 Packing.  Packing of the assemblies shall be in accordance
with MIL-STD-1169 level C.
5.3 Marking.  Marking shall be in accordance with
