4.5 Quality conformance inspections. The quality conformance sample shall
be subjected to the examinations and tests of Table 111 in the sequence shown.
Groups A and B tests shall be performed at the contractor's facility. Group C
ballistic tests shall be accomplished at the testing activity designated in the con-
tract or purchase order (see 6.2.1).
4.5.1 Production lot. A lot shall consist of projectiles produced by one manu-
facturer in one unchanged process, in accordance with the same drawings and
drawing revisions, and same specification and specification revision. The produc-
tion lot, as defined by MIL-STD-1 168, shall be not less than 20,000 projectiles
and not more than 50,000 projectiles.
