MILITARY SPECIFICATION
RACK, BOMB EJECTOR, AIRCRAFT; BRU-20, BRU-21,
BRU-22, BRU-23, BRU-24 AND BRU-25 SERIES
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Air
Systems Command, Department of the Navy, and is available
for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department
of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1
Scope. This specification establishes the requirements
for the manufacture and inspection of two types of bomb ejector racks
capable of- carrying and releasing stores having suspension lugs spaced
355.6 millimeters (14 inches) apart and weighing from 45 kilograms (100
pounds) to 660 kilograms (1,450 pounds). The test limits in this speci-
fication define minimum acceptable capabilities.
1.2
Classification.
Bomb ejector racks, hereinafter called
ejector units, covered by this specification shall be of the following
types:
Type I
BRU-20, BRU-21, BRU-22,
BRU-23 Bomb Ejector Racks
Type II
BRU-24, BRU-25 Bomb Ejector Racks

APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1
Issues of documents. The following documents, of the
issue in effect on date of invitation for bids or request for proposal,
form a part of this specification to the extent specified herein.
Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any
pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document

08733, by using the self-addressed Standardization Document Improve-
