MILITARY SPECIFICATION
RACK, BOMB; MULTIPLE EJECTOR, A/A37B-6
SERIES AND TRIPLE EJECTOR, A/A37B-5 SERIES
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Air
Systems Command, Department of the Navy, and is available
for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department
of Defense.

SCOPE
1.1
Scope.  This specification establishes the requirements
for the manufacture and inspection of two types of bomb ejector racks.
The Type I bomb rack is capable of carrying and releasing Up to three
stores with a total combined weight not to exceed 1,360 kilograms (3,000
pounds). The Type II bomb rack is capable of carrying and releasing up
to six stores with a total combined weight not to exceed 2,040 kilograms
(4,500 pounds).  All carried stores shall have suspension lugs spaced
355.6 millimeters (14 inches) apart and shall weigh from 22.7 kilograms
(50 pounds) to 660 kilograms (1,450 pounds). The test limits in this
specification define minimum acceptable capabilities.
1.2
Classification.
Bomb ejector racks, hereinafter called
bomb racks,
covered by this  specification shall be of the following
types:
-A/A37B-5 Series Triple Ejector Rack (TER)
Type I
-A/A37B-6 Series Multiple Ejector Rack (MER)
Type II
